​Cheese Lasagna​

Lasagna is an Italian delicacy that is known for its delicious taste. Made with meat, vegetables and cheese, it is perfect to enjoy during dinner.

​​​Ingredients​​



1 package lasagna noodles, 4 cups ricotta cheese, 4 eggs, ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste, 1 teaspoon olive oil, 3 cloves garlic, 32-ounce spaghetti sauce, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the lasagna noodles and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the noodles and lay them flat on foil to cool.

In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined. Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes. Stir in the spaghetti sauce and Italian seasoning, cooking until warmed through, about 2 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Spread 1/2 cup of the sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Cover with a layer of noodles. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.

Add another layer of noodles and pour 1 1/2 cups of the sauce over them. Spread the remaining ricotta mixture over the sauce.

Top with a final layer of noodles and the remaining sauce. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.

Cover the dish with a greased sheet of foil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy.
